Konichiwa!
There are various eateries at “The Punggol Settlements” you have all the seafood restaurants occupying the ground floor and on the second floor you have the boutique restaurants/cafes.
Izakaya 95 caught my eye, a Japanese restaurant located on the second floor. They serve yakitories, a variety of Japanese dishes with an array of booze from draught beers on tap to Sake take your pick.

Ambiance is chill and relaxed, the all black decor, tea lights in lamps on the table gives the place a cool Japanese hipster kind of feel to it.
Come early to snag a nice table along the veranda to enjoy the sunset and a view of containers/shipping at Pasir Gudang, Malaysia. If your lucky you might see fireworks too (don’t ask why there are fireworks am not sure either).
Overall, all the plates are tasty, flavorful, and consistent. There are plenty of choices to choose from but it can be a little overbearing when it’s the first time seeing the menu.

The sake that we chose was extremely smooth, clean, crisp, light body with unami and nicely soft sweetness. A perfect food sake that is complementary to the flavors in the food.
The service staff are friendly, attentive, cordial and efficient for how busy it was. Food comes out at a good pace.

I have since been here twice once with the family and the second with friends. Its a great place to chill out, relax and unwind after a tough day/week with family or friends.
Thank you for reading.
