Coco Game Center ~ Singapore

Hello Lovelies!

How did you beat your Monday Blues? Well I beat mine by going to the much talk about Coco Chanel Game Center which finally arrived in Singapore and opened its door last weekend at The Luxe Museum.

Entry is by pre-registration here.

The mini box contains 2tokens for the game machines and a ticket for slushie redemption. You get additional tokens upon check-out of purchases too.

Are you ready for some fun? I sure was been waiting for so long. Let the games begin!

Who says a girl can’t have makeup & play arcade games?

With a token in hand we each took a chance with the Bubble Game Machine – with skilful strategy planning we manage to “claw” ourselves the coveted black card bubbles to exchange for a customised fragrance.

After a stressful entrance we decided to take a notch down and play some “mindless” games of pitting each other over a game of tennis and beat the piano tiles (P.S. These are sure wins i.e. as in either you win or your partner wins so you are guaranteed a prize) and won for ourselves Rouge Coco Lip Palette and Primer.

After all that gaming adrenaline rush it was time for us to chill and play with makeup!

Tired and thirsty? Fret not Coco has it all under control – serving you an ice cold mango slushie.

I’m delighted I manage to purchase some of the exclusive limited edition merchandise.

Oh there’s also a tier spending reward – depending on how much you spend you will be entitled to various free gifts.

What are you waiting for? The Coco Game Center Pop-up closes on 6 May Sun! Don’t miss it!!

Have fun!

Happy Birthday Lovelies! Today is the 7th day of the first month of the Lunar New Year known as “Ren Ri” which literally means “Human Day” ~ everyone’s birthday. The Chinese legend has it, the Goddess Nüwa created the world. She created animals on different days and human beings on the seventh day.

One of the traditions is that on this day, we have to eat a dish made out of 7 types of vegetables (Xiao Baicai, Nai bai, Leek, Fu kwai chai, Kow peck chye, Yau mak chye, Kai lan). It is believe eating this dish brings good luck, makes you look younger & prettier too!

This is one tradition I will dutifully follow every year!

Do you know you can spruce up an outfit to a more corporate look by just donning on a blazer?

Oh I got a new hair cut too – it’s a Chinese custom to get a haircut and new clothes for the new year. The idea is that with a new look, bad spirits won’t recognize a person and follow them into the new year. I don’t know about you, but a little shopping and a brand-new ‘do chase my bad spirits away every time.

Date Night :: LWD & Black Lace Trim

Happy Tuesday everyone! Last weekend for our dinner date I picked a white bell sleeve shift dress featuring an A-line skirt complete with black lace trim and added a dash of red!

01.ShenWendys

I don’t usually where dresses with sleeves as the weather in Singapore is always  humid & hot and I perspire easily. But the weather that day wasn’t too bad, so I decided to put on this dress.

The ‘perfect’ little white dress (LWD) is hard to find or come by don’t you think? Most white dresses are either too transparent or have the wrong fit, but this one is perfect! Its made out of a thicker fabric, so it doesn’t show your inner wear, the flare finishing hides the bulges and gives you a sexy flirty silhouette.

02.ShenWendys

I love how colors pop up against a white background, so I teamed my ensemble with a red clutch. I kept everything else neutral so that the bright red color would stand out.
